Ossai Ossai Describes Ibori @62 as a Man of Destiny

ABUJA/Nigeria: The former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, who marked his 62nd Birthday on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, had been described as a “Man of Destiny” by the member representing the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, at the National Assembly, Hon. Dr. Ossai Nicholas Ossai.

Ossai, who is the Chairman House Committee on Treaties, Protocols and Agreements in a special birthday message eulogised Chief James Ibori for his immense contributions to the foundation and development of Delta state, stressing that he is a man of destiny.

“His Excellency Chief James Ibori is a man of destiny whom God has blessed with deep wisdom, political sagacity and leadership foresight. Each time I reflect on the many sided wars he doggedly waged with commitment, resilience and determination for the benefit of the people of Niger Delta and Delta State in particular, I am always encouraged to keep the fire aglow.

Felicitating with former Governor, he said,  “I recall your place as the father of modern Delta state, and I salute the purposeful, inclusive, peaceful and development leadership that characterized your tenure as Governor of Delta State from 1999 to 2007. The enduring democratic foundations you laid, culture of respect and oneness and a Delta State for all Deltans has continued to resonate in history.”

“On behalf of my family, and the enterprising people of Ndokwa/Ukwunai Federal Constituency, I salute, celebrate rejoice with you, your family and millions of your loved ones globally on this auspicious occasion of your 62nd birthday.

“My heartfelt prayer is that God will continue to keep you in health, long life and grant you more fruitful years of service in honour and glory to His Name – Amen!” declared Hon. Dr.  Ossai Ossai.
