Ossai Ossai Trains, Empowers Constituents on Liquid Soap and Hand Sanitisers Production

KWALE/Nigeria: With the practices of entrepreneurship taking the business space in Nigeria, especially in Delta State, where the government of Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa focus had been on empowering the people, especially the youths and women through skill acquisition and formerly given them startup seeds and kits, the member representing the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Hon Ossai Nicolas Ossai, had carried out the training and empowering about 30 constituents with idea of liquid soup and hand sanitiser production.

The Production of Liquid Soap By the Trainees

The programme which was held in Hotel Dela Nice, Kwale on the Saturday, September 19, 2020, in conjunction with Directorate of Economic Affairs, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, had participants drawn from the three local government of Ndokwa Nation, which are Ndokwa West, Ndokwa East, and Ukwuani Local Government Areas.

Speaking at the event, Hon Ossai Ossai, who was represented by one of his Legislative Assistants, Mr. Chibuzor, stated that the programme is one among the numerous empowerments the office had organised in partnership with agencies that a human driving, like the Federal Ministry of Women Affair.

He advised the participants to put into use whatever they will learn, as it may be the beginning of their wealth growth and economic contribution to the society.

Trainees Displaying their Certificates

“We have organised this type of training last December, which was in fish production. This is another one of those trainings and empowerment, which will run with ministries and agencies, like the Federal of Women affairs.”

“I encourage you to take this training seriously. This could be your breakthrough in business, and economic empowerment of your immediate family, and their communities you come from.”

He further advised the trainees to learn and understand the process of book keeping and marketing, as it’s the only way to effectively grow their business.

The beneficiaries of the training where taught how to produce liquid soap, and hand sanitisers, by a consultant, Mrs. Esther Okonkwo. She also reiterated the message of Hon Ossai Ossai that the training should be taken seriously, as it will help them grow economically.

In an interview, with Ndokwa Reporters, Mrs Alice Oyebezie, from appreciated Ossai for training, and empowerment of the beneficiaries from the constituency, because he had been able to position the women of Ndokwa with means of livelihood.

The former beneficiaries of the Fish and Feed Production in November 2019, where also at the event to receive talk on bookkeeping and marketing of their products, which was delivered by the Manager of Nicola Oyovwiadia’s Farm, Kwale.Mr.  Nicolas Onyovwiadia.

The participants were given the sum of N50, 000.00 each as a take of capital, and a certificate of participation.
