He noted that the completion of strategic roads around the Otovwodo axis had already eased the long-standing traffic congestion that plagued the area for decades.

He also acknowledged the construction of other roads across the kingdom, as well as the governor’s appointment of sons and daughters of Ughelli Kingdom into strategic positions in government, describing the gestures as deliberate actions that have uplifted communities and strengthened inclusion.

“This flyover bridge will forever change the face of Ughelli and will be remembered and appreciated by generations yet unborn,” the monarch said, as he offered prayers for divine guidance, resources and human support for the governor to succeed in office. He further pledged the cooperation and loyalty of the people of Ughelli Kingdom to the Oborevwori administration.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to continue delivering impactful infrastructure projects across Delta State, explaining that the Otovwodo Flyover was designed to improve traffic flow, enhance safety and stimulate economic activities in Ughelli, in line with the MORE Agenda of his administration.

In a related development, the governor paid a courtesy visit to the Ughelli residence of industrialist and political leader, Morrison Olori, founder of the Ukodo Nation Political Support Group.
