ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, has called on officers in the Nigeria Police Force to discharge their duties with sound sense of diligence and commitment
Otuaro made the call in his office when he officially decorated his orderly, Ibrahim Yunusa, recently promoted from the rank of sergeant to that of an inspector.
The deputy governor charged Inspector Ibrahim to be more diligent and committed to his duty now that he had been elevated to a higher rank, adding, “To whom much is given, much is expected from him also.”
He however scored Inspector Ibrahim very high in-service delivery.
The newly promoted Inspector of police who fielded questions from journalists, expressed satisfaction with his elevation and dedicated his promotion to God Almighty.
Yunusa added that the elevation could not have been without the discipline, experience and mentorship received over the period he served in the office of the deputy governor.
He advised officers seeking elevation in the office to be diligent and committed to their duty.
