OKPANAM/Nigeria: Ahead of the State Local Government Council elections, scheduled for Saturday, March 6, two frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) councillorship candidates in Okpanam community, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Ezuche Barry Okonkwo, and Comrade Sunday Jeffery Mordi, have lauded the people of the community for their unwavering support and commitment for the PDP .
The duo, made the commendation while fielding questions from news shortly after visiting two community leaders /elders, Obi Adimabuah Ozili (JP) and Obi Joseph Nwaokobia to seek for their blessings.
Hon. Ezuche Okonkwo , who stated that he was contesting to drive more more development to his constituency , commended the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Chief Patrick Ukah, for his impacts in okpanam community.
Whlle describing Obi Adimabuah Ozili as his mentor and an uncommon asset to the Community, Hon. Okonkwo, said that the Okowa administration had redefined governance.
In his remarks, Comrade Sunday Jeffrey Mordi, popularly known as Olaola, said that their aspiration were designed by God, adding that PDP was a veritable platform through which meaningful socioeconomic growth and development could thrive in any society, just as he described the two Obis as important stakeholders in Okpanam community.
Responding, Obi Adimabuah Ozili, who recalled that he was one of the pioneer member of the party, noted that all the councillorship candidates from the community were worthy individuals with the needed credentials to give the community robust representation in the council.
Earlier, Obi Joseph Nwaokobia, said that the emergence of the three councillorship candidates from community would mark the beginning of a new dawn for the community in the affairs of the council.
