ASABA/Nigeria: The Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere, has advised members of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 to make sure their structure is solid from the grassroot to the state level as captured in the aims and objectives of the group.
Hon Owhefere, who spoke when some members of the group paid him a courtesy visit in Asaba, assured the group that they will get all necessary support from him since the sole aim is to support the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to return to Government House, Asaba, in 2019.
He called on them to remain steadfast and be resolute in their determination to work with other groups in ensuring that Senator Okowa is re-elected in the 2019 governorship election.
The State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Edmond Guanah, had earlier hinted the Majority Leader on the working strategies of the group to ensure Senator Okowa’s re-election in 2019.
Hon. Guanah added that the group deemed it fit to identify with Hon. Owhefere, who he described as a grassroot politician, for advice and encouragement.
Highlights of the visit were the presentation of the group’s T-shirts to the Majority Leader.
