ABUJA/Nigeria: The Chief Executive Officer of Geotag Oil and Gas Limited and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Delta North Senatorial District, Chief Dr. (Amb) Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode (JP) has commiserated with the executive governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa over the death of his father, Late Sir Arthur Okorie Okowa.
In a statement released by his media aide, Pastor Itodje Okiemute Godstime in Abuja on Friday, Amb. Oyibode described the death of Sir Arthur Okowa and the tragic gas explosion that claimed several lives and properties in Agbor last week as a colossal loss to the government and entire people of Delta State.
The former governorship and senatorial aspirant said “I received the heart-breaking news of the death of the governor’s father with shock”
He however, described the late Sir Okowa as an outstanding father and a role model who trained his children to be patriotic and responsible citizens that have contributed to the socio-political and economic development of the nation.
“I mourn his death and pray that the Almighty God will grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.” Oyibode further stated.
