OYO/Nigeria: The Oyo State Government has approved the appointment of three new Executive Secretaries for the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).
The Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, disclosed this on Tuesday during a meeting with Administrative Officers of all Local Government Universal Basic Education Authorities (LGUBEAs) at the Board’s headquarters in Ibadan.
According to Adeniran, the newly appointed officials—Dr. Kemi Adeosun, Dr. Adebola Ayegboyin, and Mr. Raji Fatai—were selected by Governor Seyi Makinde to oversee the three senatorial zones under the Board. He described them as accomplished educationists and advocates of good governance who successfully passed the necessary examinations alongside the new Permanent Secretaries.
“The new appointees are experts in the education sector with vast experience in various capacities. They will work closely with the Board and the substantive Executive Secretary, Mrs. Olaide Ladipo, at the headquarters,” Adeniran stated.
He urged the new Executive Secretaries to uphold transparency and efficiency in their respective zones, emphasizing that their role is crucial in advancing the objectives of OYOSUBEB as the driving force behind basic education in the state.
