WARRI/Nigeria: As Christians in Warri and its environs join their fellow worshippers in Delta state, Nigeria and across the globe to celebrate this year’s palm Sunday in commemoration of the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, the Pastor in charge of Shalom Baptist Church Ekpan, near Warri, Pastor Bright Opate has declared that every Christians must grow like the palm tree, noting that the palm tree is upright and has strongness, truthfulness among others.
The clergy Man made the declaration Sunday March 25, 2018 and harped on the Palm Sunday service to admonished Christians to possess the habit of a palm frond in order to be useful in the kingdom of God like the palm tree.
Pastor Bright who is an international Minister of God, preached on the topic the 7 habit of a Palm Tree Christian, took his text from the Bible book of Psalm 1:1-3, Psalm 92:12. He described habit as an action performed repeatedly and automatically without being knowing.
The Man of God explained that the palm tree has its uniqueness, adding that every Christian should have a unique character, be peaceful as well as be lively and love one another wherever they may be.
Pst. Opate Bright urged Christians to develop the habit of being addicted to doing the things of God in order to attract the glory of God into their lives and the nation.
