ORHUWHORUN/Nigeria: The leaders and executives of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Orhuwhorun ward, in Udu Local Government Council, Delta State, have condemned the recent incessant attack on its ward leaders.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the ward Chairman Efete Okolosi and his Secretary Harvest Waka on Sunday 2nd of March,
The condemnation followed the recent attack on the member representing the Udu constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor by suspected sponsored thugs at the Delta State Legislative quarters Asaba.
The PDP leader in ward 9 Okolosi , therefore, called on party leaders in the State, leaders of the State House of Assembly, Security Agents, and all relevant Authorities to investigate and take appropriate action on the orchestrated attack against the Udu lawmaker Uviejitobor.
They also condemned the illegal suspension of the councilor representing Orhuwhorun ward 15 Hon. Oscar Okoro and Hon Queen Oriendure, regarding the suspension as baseless. The ward leader therefore called on the Udu legislative Arm to reverse the decision and reinstall the suspended councillors from the Orhuwhorun community.
