ABUJA/Nigeria: In a decisive effort to bolster internal cohesion and discipline within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the National Working Committee (NWC) has established the National Reconciliation Committee and the National Disciplinary Committee. This move, sanctioned by the National Executive Committee (NEC), marks a pivotal step in addressing reconciliation and disciplinary matters within the party.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary, on Friday, August 16, 2024. The statement underscored the significance of these committees in the PDP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its structure and operations.

The inauguration of both committees is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 12 noon at the NEC Hall, National Secretariat, Abuja.
