ASABA/Nigeria: Secretary to the Medical Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in Delta State, Dr (Pharm.) Nelson Ejakpovi has said the party will get 100 per cent votes in the South South region.
Dr. Ejakpovi who spoke at the PDP Campaign rally in Asaba, Oshimili South local government area of Delta State Tuesday, January 15, 2019 stated that with the successful inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council and Committee of the party in the South South Zone by the zonal Chairman of the party, Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi, the people of the zone are fully sensitized to give their votes to the party.
According to Dr Ejakpovi who emerged as a member of the Medical Committee of the Presidential Campaign Council and Committees of the party in South South Zone, “the hour is upon us to positively change the fortunes of the country by electing an industrialist, a lover of education, a pan-Nigerian, a retired civil servant who served the country meritoriously and a true democrat who performed as a Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President in the February 16, general elections.”
“The hour is upon us and it is a thing of joy that the people of South South are aware that the only way they can be equal stakeholders in our nation is to elect all the candidates of the PDP, ” Dr Ejakpovi who is the Chairman, Governing Council, Delta State School of Health Technology, Ofuoma stated.
He added, “from all the campaign rallies of our Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP in Delta Central, Delta South and today, in Delta North Senatorial District, the people are speaking in only one language, the language of the PDP which means, Delta Is giving 100 per cent votes to the party and it will be replicated in all the states of the South South region and beyond.”
Asked how he will combine the position of Secretary of the Medical Committee of the Campaign Council in the state and that of membership of the Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Ejakpovi said, “I am a founding member of the PDP, I almost paid the Supreme Sacrifice for the party; this is the 21st century and all that is required is sacrifice, it will involve a lot of movements, but, that is politics and this is campaign period and with God, we are capable because, the hour is upon us to get it right for our party, our state and the nation.”
