ASABA/Nigeria: An appeal has gone to every good spirited individual, corporate organizations and religious bodies from far and near to come to the aid of the Blind and Cripples otherwise known as the people living with disabilities in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The National Coordinator for the Association in Okpanam, Prophet Emma Asoya made the call in Okpanam while speaking with newsmen.
Prophet Emma Asoya, who said that the appeal had become necessary considering the trauma and financial challenges they were going through on a daily basis, stated that some of them if not all had no means of livelihood as they neither see nor walk.
While saying that the gesture to assist them would go a long way in giving succour to them and the reason to smile again, Prophet Emma Asoya noted that anybody with the intention to assist them should contact Diokpa Peter Chukwudi’s from Umumale Quarters on GSM number 08064858229 and Diokpa John Obi of Ogbeojie Quarters on GSM number 07033961235 or reach the national coordinator on GSM number 08027011519.
Meanwhile, the monthly meeting of Okpanam Believers International (OBI) has been scheduled to hold on Saturday,May 8,2022.
According to a statement signed by the National Coordinator of Okpanam Believers International, Prophet Emma Asoya, the meeting which will take place at MT. Camels Church, Ogbeoadi Quarters, Okpanam would begin from 5pm Prompt.
Prophet Emma Asoya, who said that important issues concerning the growth and development of the Okpanam community would be discussed, noted that the meeting was strictly for only believers of Okpanam origin.
