Pillar Oil Graduates 18 Trainees

pilar-oilKwale: A total of 18 persons have been trained on various skills by Pillar Oil Limited, Umuseti-Igbuku oil field, Kwale.
Speaking at the occasion of the “Graduation and kick off” ceremony, the Managing Director, Mr. Spencer Onosode, represented by the Manager, Field Operations, Engr. Babatunde Olayinka, said that the management was happy to be alive to the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the people of the host communities.
He explained that despite the economic recession in the country, pillar oil limited would continue to better the lives of the host communities; even as he congratulated the granduands and requested them to put into use, the skills, acquired, so as to create jobs for others in view of improving the nation’s economy.
Earlier, the Chairman, Ndokwa West Local Government Council, Hon. Chris Osakwe, who was represented by Barr. Kingsley Egugbo as chairman of the occasion, expressed satisfaction with the company’s CSR, pointing out that a similar event took place in 2015.
Osakwe noted that the skills acquired, if put into proper use, would offer the beneficiaries opportunities to establish themselves for self reliance and job creation for others.
