Pray for our leaders, Arutere pleads

The General Overseer (G.O) and founder of the God’s Covenant Christian Assembly (GCCA) at Asheshe Street off Japka road, Effurun in Uvwie local government area of Delta State, Rev. (Barr) Fred Arutere has pleaded with Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora to pray fervently for our leaders including politicians.

Rev Arutere made the statement at a cross-over service in the miracle ground of the GCCA that was filled beyond capacity by Christians of different denominations.

According to the Man of God, Nigerians need to be more prayerful so that we would not experience killings, maiming, physical attack, and open assault among others on our leaders as well as politicians.

His words, “For Nigeria to remain peaceful in 2014 and be properly recognized in the comity of nations, we need prayers so that the world can also see the nation as maintaining its status, the giant of Africa”.  He advised leaders and politicians to learn to forgive one another and always apply fully the spirit of sportsmanship for this will enable the country to move forward in the right direction for the betterment of all Nigerians.
