Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State, had warned against the spirit of familiarity amongst Christians.
The Tireless General said this yesterday during a 2-day Sons and Daughters programme at the mountain in Mercy City, Delta State Nigeria. ‘Too much familiarity with the man of God deprives you of God’s blessings. You have to respect your spiritual father for God to unlock God’s blessings upon your life. Familiarity spirit destroys destines, brings a man down and is more than witchcraft.’ He said.
The founder of Mercy Television wants his sons and daughters to do greater miracles than him but stress the need for sacrifice. Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin called on Christians to believe in sacrifices because it works faster.
Reading from the Book of Galatians 6:7: ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap’, the man of God said the Lord revealed the secret of success to him – sacrifice. ‘Prayer without sacrifice is useless. Prayer, fasting and sacrifice work hand in hand, don’t be deceived; give what you have but don’t take sacrifice for granted’ he said.
Owomowomo 1 cautioned against using the word of God to destroy one another but to win souls to Christ, heal the sick and deliver the captives. The prophet in demonstration of this, speak to water, called on God to release overflow blessings, healing and use the water to touch an army officer who couldn’t walk for three years and he received healing instantly. Officer ThankGod Ojobo from Enugu state fell from flyover while directing traffic on official duty and as a result, the accident affected his legs and make use of clutches. Rains of miracle money alert were also recorded.
