PSG Thrashes Helpless Anderlecht, Manchester United, Barcelona Wins, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid Draw

The second of Champions league football saw PSG make a child of the Anderlecht team as they beat them 4-0. French Whizkid Kylian Mpabbe scored the opener in the first half with just three minutes into the match with Cavani adding a Second just before half time. World’s most expensive player scored a tricky free kick to make it three, before Angel Di Maria who came on for Captain Thiago Motta scored the fourth goal. This win puts PSG on top of Group B ahead of Bayern Munchen who won their game against Celtic by 3-0.

Manchester United had to rely on a 64TH minute goal from Marcus Rashford to ease Benfica and continue their fine run in the champions League. Benfica were later reduced to ten-men in the 90TH minute after Luisao received his second booking of the night. This win put Manchester United on top of Group A.

Although Barcelona were 10 men down after Gerard Pique was sent off, this didn’t hinder them from cruising past Olympiacos. An own goal from Dimitrios Nikolaou, Lionel Messi and Lucas Digne was enough for the Catalan giants to get all three points. Chelsea were held to 3-3 draw by AS Roma. David Luiz and Eden Hazard had first put the home side in front before Aleksandar Kolarov and a brace from Edin Dzeko put the visitors in front. However Eden Hazard ensured that Chelsea were able to leave with at least a point in the 75TH minute. Also Atletico Madrid and Qarabag FK played a stalemate in an otherwise uneventful match.
