OGWASHI-UKU/Nigeria: A call has gone to student leaders of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwash-Uku to carry the newly matriculated students along and ensure continuous peace in the institution.
The Rector of the institution, Professor Stella Chiemeke made the call shortly after the 19th Matriculation Ceremony at Ogwashi- Uku.
She advised the students to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations entrenched in the student’s hand book of the institution.
According to Chiemeke, the institution had zero tolerance for negative activities, such as examination malpractice, cultism, hooliganism, prostitution and indecent dressing, warning that students should shun acts capable of putting them in trouble.
She assured parents and guardians of management’s determination to ensure that the institution raise visionary leaders, well equipped with necessary skills in their various field of endeavor.
