UGHELLI/Nigeria: The Advocate Lecture Series Board of Council (ALSBC) has proudly announced the selection of Prof. Enajite Eseoghene Ojaruega as the Keynote Speaker for Advocate Publication’s highly anticipated Inaugural Lecture Series.
The event, themed “Youth Empowerment and Leadership Evolution: Rethinking Nigeria’s Leadership Recruitment Process,” is set to be a milestone occasion in the discourse on Nigeria’s future leadership.
In a press release issued on Monday, ALSBC’s Secretary General, Mr. Shedrack Onitsha-Anipr, revealed that Prof. Ojaruega’s appointment stems from her distinguished career spanning over two decades and her significant contributions to scholarship.
Mr. Onitsha emphasized the meticulous selection process undertaken by ALSBC, led by Mr. Abraham Ogbodo, former Editor of the Guardian Newspapers, which culminated in the decision to appoint Prof. Ojaruega as the esteemed Keynote Speaker.

Prof. Ojaruega, currently a Professor of African Literature at Delta State University, Abraka, is celebrated for her academic prowess and leadership in the field of literature. Her extensive academic background, including a Doctorate in Literature-in-English from Delta State University, underscores her expertise in the subject matter.
Highlighting Prof. Ojaruega’s achievements, Mr. Onitsha noted her significant publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and her innovative contributions as the Acting Head of the Department of English and Literary Studies at Delta State University.
Moreover, Prof. Ojaruega’s dedication to community engagement and youth empowerment was underscored, particularly through her involvement in initiatives such as the Council of Patrons of the Boys Brigade, Anglican Communion, Nigeria.
