Asaba: Determined to fight corruption in the Nigeria Police Force, Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zanna Mohammed Ibrahim, has taken tougher steps to fish out erring officers who refused to embrace change for severe sanctions.
The police boss in a press statement advised members of the public not to ignore any bad conduct of any officer but challenged members of the public to resist and expose any form of misconduct, intimidation and extortion by policemen in the command to him directly or other designated senior officers for severe sanctions.
According to C P Ibrahim in the press statement “members of the public are informed that all police outfits operating in Delta State such as SARS, Anti-Kidnapping, Safer Highway, Federal Highway, Dragon Patrol, Area and Divisional Patrol Teams, are at all times must strictly adhere to stated rules of engagement and in addition to the ethics of good conduct of the Nigeria Police Force”
