Remains of Kwale Licensing Office

KWALE/Nigeria: There are complaints from residents of Kwale on the location of revenue offices, especially the department that issues drivers’ license. Being one of the oldest local government areas in the country, one would expect priority attention to be given to Kwale when it comes to issues such as this.
Recently, the Delta State government built new ultra modern houses for revenue offices in different local government headquarters, kwale and other two Ndokwa Local Government Areas left out in this.
Presently, resident of Ndokwa West Local Government Area travel to Ukwuani Local Government Area to obtain their licenses. A situation where someone residing consider as an error by most people.
Most person interviewed however call on the Chairman of the State Board of Inland Revenue, who hails from Local Government Area, to do something about the situation as the people are passing through pains to obtain drivers documents outside the area.
However, a staff of the revenue office in Kwale who pleaded for anonymity said that expectations are high that the Kwale office will be equipped with materials to be issuing licences before the end of this year.
