OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede has been picked as the best performing Chairman in Delta State by the Leadership of Revive Africa Initiative (RAV) in recognition of his ‘No Protocols, Open Door Policy’ and his multifaceted developmental strides across the LGA.
While accepting the award which he referred to as an encouragement to do more, Barr Ajede thanked the organization for keeping track on his administration’s activities and programmes hence they could single him out amongst the other vibrant Chairmen in the state.
The council boss however noted that the little feats achieved in his 100 Days in office was just the first phase in his administration’s STEP-UP UKWUANI AGENDA; according to him, he will be focusing on Improved Primary Health Service, Environmental Sanitation and strategic unconventional empowerment programmes for Ukwuani people.
He also reiterated that, in spite of the paucity of funds in the council that his administration is committed to give the Ukwuani people results as “we are not considering the option of giving excuses,” he enthused.
Earlier, the C.E.O and founder, Revive Africa Initiative, Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole lauded Barr CSP Ajede for raising the bar on local government administration and for his massive infrastructural developmental strides which he said was second to none across the state.
Amb Ugagaoghene noted that prior to the March 6th, 2021 election that Barr Ajede was the least on his organizations’ list of Chairmen that will perform but according to him, the Ukwuani Local Government chairman has surpassed everything they thought he will never achieve even as he encouraged him to continue to do more for the people.
Meanwhile, the organization stated that it was based on Barr Ajede’s performance that RAV considered him as the Best Performed Local Government chairman in the state.
