Sapele: Felix Anirah Foundation in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Sapele has renovated the Maternity and female orthopaedic wards of the Central Hospital, Sapele as part of their contribution to nation building.
The district Governor of Rotary club, District 9140,Rotarian Akabom Enebong, during the commissioning of the projects commended the Chairman/CEO of Felix Anirah foundation, Chief Felix Anirah , for collaborating with the club to serve humanity as he formally handed
over the projects to the management of Central Hospital Sapele.
Emebong who could not hide his joy noted that Felix Anirah Foundation has put smiles on the faces of the less privileged, especially nursing mothers who were beneficiaries of his items and the hospital equipment donated by the philanthropist.
The district governor while briefing journalists shortly after the commissioning added that Rotary is an organisation of business men and women, professional and community leaders with the mission of serving others, promoting integrity and caring for the needy in the society.
Akabom Enebong while still pouring encomium on chief and chief(Mrs) Felix Anirah for the projects, reassured the foundation of Rotary club’s unalloyed support and total commitment towards working together for a greater achievement for the benefit of humanity and urged him to maintain the tempo.
In his response, the Chief Executive Officer of the Felix Anirah Foundation, accompanied by his lovely wife Hon(Chief) Mrs Eunice Anirah, thanked Almighty God for his grace and mercies upon his family and the foundation, noting that, the wealth God has given him to serve God and put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.
The CEO in his remarks said, “How do you share wealth and love rather than making people happy, a lonely wealthy man is not a wealthy man”. He said.
Anirah while expressing satisfaction of the manner in which the central hospital projects was commissioned, gave special thanks to his wife and the Felix Anirah Foundation team, noting that the main objective why the foundation was established was to see that the needs of the people, especially the widows and less privileged are met.
On his part the Chief Host and the President of the Rotary Club of Sapele Metropolitan, Rotarian Tony Ubah welcomed the district Governor to Sapele and also in a special way appreciated the Anirah Foundation for the laudable projects.
Highlights of the ceremony was the official induction of Chief and Chief (Mrs) Felix Anirah as a Honorary member of Rotary club as a reception held at the Sapele Athletic club, while guests were treated to both African and continental dishes.
