ABRAKA/Nigeria: Even with the recession which technically the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared over, though Nigerians are still feeling the impact, investors still show confidence in the Nigeria investment climate, and with the recent publication of the best states to do business in the country, the fear of the negative impact of the recession has made those that have the money to braise all odds to put their money where they feel will be safe for them.

This could be the reason the management of Royal Amanda Hotel, situated at Royal Hotel Road, of Abraka- Orogun- Abbi Road, decided to officially open the new hospitality centre in the University town of Abraka, Delta state.

Abraka which as a university town is just few minutes’ drive from Obiaruku, the headquarter of Ukwuani Local Government Area, and Eku with a well known history of health attraction centre, the Eku General Hospital, and also few minutes’ drive from Agbor, Effurun and Sapele, all with a good connecting road networks from these towns and cities in the state, is a home of many hospitality industries.

The hotel is of 24 rooms accommodation, sparkling bar setting for relaxation, restaurant services and laundry services, in a well secured and lit environment, away from the usual Abraka noise of pushy activities.

Speaking to our Correspondent at the side of the opening ceremony, the General Manager, Mrs Comfort Ikem Ebong said that Royal Amanda Hotel conceived from something ordinary, was born  out of great concept of providing a relaxation to people, that will be a home away from home.

“Royal Amanda Hotel is a hotel that will give you comfort away from home. It is situated outside the noisy town of Abraka, clean rooms, tight security and constant light.” She said.

According to her, the amenities in the hotel will make every customer to always comeback, as she said that this will be achieved with the combined training of the staff and award for diligence to workers.

Mrs Obong said that to ensure that their customers feel at home, the kitchen is there to supply the needs of the guests in terms of food, as the kitchen will provide continental and African dishes.

The town of Abraka is a town of many uncertainty because of its academic nature, but the management of the hotel is not taking chances, as they have agreements with some transporters to help convey expected customers even at odd hours, and to see that this is smoothly achieved, they had put in place security system in agreement with various security outfits in the town. This was highly noticed during the opening ceremony, which span the night till the next morning.

Speaking at the event, one of the erudite priests in the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Rev. Fr. Anthony Mario Ozele, while congratulating the management of the hotel, which he said with the establishment of the hotel will help to absorb some unemployed Nigerians, he cautioned, in an interview that for any business to survive, the workers must see the business as theirs, as they will not want to see that their own business fails.
