
ASABA/Nigeria: Immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and current Chairman of the Delta State Tourism Board, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, has congratulated former Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his 66th birthday, describing him as a man whose legacy “will echo through the corridors of history.”
In a statement issued on Monday, Ochor praised Okowa’s visionary leadership, political maturity, and commitment to peace, equity, and sustainable development.
“Dr. Okowa is a man of uncommon political stability. His leadership brought unity, development, and hope to all parts of Delta State,” Ochor said. “I was privileged to serve closely under his administration and witnessed firsthand his passion for service and deep concern for the ordinary people.”
Ochor commended Okowa’s investments in youth development, healthcare, and rural infrastructure, saying they are cornerstones of the transformation agenda that uplifted countless communities.
“As you mark 66, Your Excellency, may God continue to grant you good health and strength. Your name is etched in the heart of Delta State, and your legacy will remain a guiding light for future generations,” Ochor added.
