Sack Kingsley Kuku Now Or We Cause More Oil Sabotage; Ex Millitants Warns President Jonathan

jonathanMilitants under the aegis of Ex militant Leaders Forum have issued a strong warning to sack the Chairman, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku over allegations of greed, incompetence, treachery and leadership failure with immediate effect.

In a press release, they refuted claims by the amnesty office that those that benefitted from the programme were truly militants. They stated that most of the current beneficiaries were not truly ex-agitators actively involved during the days of the unrest in the Niger Delta region.

They queried the rationale behind sending Students who were not former militants that accepted amnesty to Alabama State University and A & M University in the USA. The group in their statement alleged that the programme anchored by Kuku is fraudulent, stating emphatically that the students currently studying in California University are not all former militants, but cronies who were given the scholarship from Kuku’s bedroom.

Of the 582 students which the amnesty office claims are in ‘58’ universities, they noted that most of the names were fictitious.  “How many of these people are qualified to enjoy the benefits of the multi-billion naira amnesty program that has not become Kingsley Kuku’s personal farm”?, they queried.

They further challenged the Amnesty office to provide a list of the names of students of the schools as well as mentioned the names of the militant camps they belonged to. Refusal to publish they stated confirms to the public that the names were hurriedly conscripted by Kuku and his goons.

Giving the President a piece of their mind, they reiterated their call for Kuku’s removal while they suggest possible names to replace him. They claimed that the President’s Adviser on Niger Delta has succeeded in using the office as an opportunity to build his financial empires through a carefully selected network of willy-nilly consultants and contractors. They revealed that the current increasing oil theft in the country is due to the removal of the true militants from the amnesty programme.

“Oil sabotage will continue to increase in geometric proportions in the next few months especially with increased access to better technology and heavier funding if the presidency does not intervene and correct the failures of the Presidential Amnesty Office”, they warned President Goodluck Jonathan.
