Hon Ossai Nicolas Ossai (Ph.D)

The Honourable member representing, Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency of Delta State, at the Federal House of Assembly, and majority leader at the Delta State House of Assembly between the years 1999-2007, Hon Ossai Nicolas Ossai, has bagged a doctorate degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (UNN).
Congratulating Hon Ossai for his love for education and continuous acquisition of knowledge, one of his Special Advisers and a lecturer at the Delta State University and a colleague in his undergraduate days in UNN, Hon Samuel Ossai, described the attainment of an academic degree by the hardworking legislator as “marvellous”.
Hon Samuel Ossai who spoke to newsmen and politicians in his country home in Ebedei, Ukwuani LGA, of Delta State described Hon Ossai Ossai as a “complete peoples leader and a role model, as his commitment to education and improving Ndokwa Peoples Standard of living is uttermost to him”.
Also speaking at the occasion, former chairman, National Union of Teachers (NUT) and presently a state Exco member of the union, Com. Timothy Umukoro emphasised that “Ndokwa nation is blessed to having Hon Ossai Ossai as their son”.
With this academic degree, Hon Ossai can be called a complete lion as his first and second degrees was also from the University of Nigeria, which graduates from Nigeria premier university pride themselves with the name “Lion or Lioness”.
