Hon. Elvis Ayemanor, the chairmanship candidate of the past local government election, who was invited alongside other members of the party to the station for questioning, said it was one Esidje who told the police that they were holding illegal meetings along no. 60 Oleh road Sapele and during the meeting they explained to the DPO that their gathering was very legal in line with the constitution of their party.
Hon. Ayemanor added that after listening to the claims of both parties, the DPO in his wisdom advised Chief Esidje who is still laying claims to the chairmanship seat despite the no confidence vote placed on him to call a meeting within 21 days where he should
harmonize all members together.
He added that while the meeting lasted, the DPO told Esidje who was also alleged to have refused to called meeting for over a year now, never to fail to settle their differences within the ultimatum given to him or else he should never parade himself as the Chairman of Sapele APC rather the interim body whose activities has been temporarily halted would assume full control immediately, stressing that during their meetings the police must be with them to fore-shall any possible breakdown of law and order .

led his men to the venue, had to appeal to them to report to the station after the meeting, having sensed danger, should he force Elvis out of the meeting.
At the station, a truce could not be reached on the first day since Dr. Cyril Ogodo one of those who made the arrest was not on ground, as the meeting was later shifted to another date which now ended with the DPO calling on the formal Exco leader to arrange for a new meeting within the said 21days.

the generality of the party like a family business.
The entire residents of Sapele which learnt of the changes of leadership in Sapele APC, received the development with the widest jubilation as those who responded to online media report owned by one Sapele Tafia said the idea will lead to rapid change in the area,
