Asaba/Nigeria: The Government of Delta State has disowned some online reports claiming the State Civil Service Commission is recruiting workers into the state civil service.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, said that the state government was not recruiting workers for now and advised Deltans to disregard the online report.
The statement described the report as the handiwork of mischief makers who are out to mislead and dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
It explained that due process would be followed when the state government decided to embark on any recruitment exercise.
