School Principal Expresses Satisfaction With Performance Of Students In 2022 WAEC Examination In Delta

ASABA/Nigeria: The Principal of Westend Mixed Secondary School in Asaba, Mrs. Augusta Ogeah, has described the performance of most students of the school in the just released Senior School Certificate Examination results by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) as superlative and encouraging.

Mrs. Ogeah stated this in Asaba while speaking with newsmen.

She said that the performance of the students was an indication that the efforts of the teachers and their parents were not in vain and commended the students for making the school proud.

The principal, who described the eight students of the school that scored the highest grades in all the subjects offered in the examination as ambassadors of the school, said that the school would devise a means to honour them.

Mrs. Ogeah said that the gesture was aimed at encouraging other students to take their studies seriously and replicate or surpass such outstanding performance.

According to Mrs. Ogeah, Etiaka Chinenye had five Bs (Good Performance), including English Language, and four Cs (Credits), while Izeh Confidence Junior made one A (Excellent Performance), six Bs (Good Performance), including English Language, and General Mathematics and two Cs (Credits) in two other subjects.

She further disclosed that Marizu Kenechukwu Onyekachukwu had seven Bs (Good Performance), including English Language and General Mathematics as well as two Cs (Credits), adding that another student of the school, Itila Emmanuel Osaretin, had two As (Excellent Performance), three Bs (Good Performance), including English Language and four Cs (Credits).

Mrs. Ogeah stated that another student, Kolawole Lukman Solomon, made four Bs (Good Performance) including English Language and five Cs (Credits), adding that Zwokumor Tamaralagefe Emmanuella scored four Bs  (Good Performance) and five Cs (Credits).
