SDGS Invites Contractors To Pre-Qualify For 2020 Project Cycle

ASABA/Nigeria: The Directorate of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under the aegis of the Delta State Government is collaborating with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs (OSSAP-SDGs) to execute pro-poor projects in the Health, Water & Sanitation and Renewable Energy sectors under the 2020 Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) to States.

Accordingly, the Directorate is inviting contractors to pre-qualify for projects that would be executed in upland and riverine locations across the 25 LGAs in the State.

The Director General, Dr Andy Ilabor in a statement earlier today, said the overall aim of this project is to support and improve service delivery in primary Healthcare, especially in rural areas across the state in line with Sustainable Development Goals 3, 6 and 7.

He noted that interested contractors, are to provide the following;

Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;

Evidence of Registration with Delta State Contractors Registration Board;

Current Tax Clearance Certificate etc. amongst others requirements, which has been properly outlined in the advertorials contained in both Vanguard and pointer Newspaper of 22nd and 23rd respectively.

He further added, that required documents must be signed and submitted within two (2) weeks from the date of the publication in a sealed envelope clearly marked “pre-qualification to tender for SDGs 2020 Conditional Grants Scheme projects (STATE TRACK)” to the Secretariat, also Project area(s) of interest should be indicated at the top right-hand corner of the envelope.
