ASABA/Nigeria: The Chairman of Western Boys’ High School, Benin City, Old Boys Association (WOBA), Delta State chapter, Barr. Raymos Guanah, has called on members of the association to see themselves as members of one big family.
Barr. Guanah, who stated this during the family reunion and end of year get together of the association held in Asaba on Sunday, advised that members should take any challenge facing any member as theirs.
He said that the essence of the get together was to provide an opportunity for members to know their wives and children and thank God for seeing them through the year.
Barr. Guanah disclosed that the association was formed to discuss the welfare of members and their families as well as contribute to the maintenance and development of their alma mater.
In an interview, the wife of the Vice Chairman of the association, Barr. Mrs. Chinyere Okolo, commended members of the executive of the association for organizing the maiden get together, stressing that she can now identify wives of other members anywhere she will see them in the future.
Children of members and their friends had fantastic moments enjoying the bouncing castle, with Banny and friends adding colour to the celebration.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of gifts to children in attendance by the Chairman, supported by his Vice, Dr. Anthony Okolo.
