Senator Ned Nwoko, Delta APC Leaders Meet Tinubu to Strengthen Party’s Foothold

ABUJA/Nigeria: In a strategic move to fortify the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, a high-powered delegation led by the state party chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House earlier today.

The delegation included prominent political figures from Delta State, notably Senator Ned Nwoko (Delta North), Senator Ede Dafinone (Delta Central), and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (Delta South), underscoring the importance of the engagement. Others present were Hon. Francis Waive, representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, and Hon. Stella Okotete, former APC National Women Leader and current Executive Director at NEXIM Bank.

The discussions centered on the state of the APC in Delta, with the delegation providing a comprehensive briefing on ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots structures and internal democracy within the party.
