ABUJA/Nigeria: Distinguished Senator representing Delta North, Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON, on his successful coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba.
In a statement released by his media directorate, Senator Nwoko commended the new monarch for assuming a role that comes with immense responsibility. He described the Asagba as the “heart and soul” of Asaba, underscoring that the position is more than ceremonial—it embodies leadership, wisdom, and the strength to unify the people during both prosperous and challenging times.
“It is with great respect and joy that I congratulate you on your coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba,” Nwoko said. “This is not only a personal achievement but a significant moment for the people of Asaba. Senator Nwoko, who also chairs the Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation, lauded Obi Azinge’s strength and foresight.
