Show Love to Each Other-Otuaro

EFFURUN/Nigeria: Delta State Deputy Governor,  Barr. Kingsley Otuaro has advised couples to always listen to each other, show love among themselves and work together as a team in order to make their marriage a success.

Barr. Otuaro, gave the advice during the marriage reception ceremony between Onome Phebi Ijoni and Abraham Aghidi, on Saturday, 24th March, 2018, at Effurun, Delta State.

The state deputy governor advised the husband to always see his wife as an angel, saying that angels are always loved. According to him, when a man show love and care to his wife, he will always enjoy the good qualities of her.

While enjoining  the wife, to always show respect to her husband, Barr. Otuaro urged the couple to work together as one even in challenging circumstances.

Also, the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Agbonla Ajayi who was a special guest to the Delta State deputy governor, advised the husband to always pamper and treat his wife with love and care, saying it is the husband’s responsibility to do so.

Hon. Ajayi, urge the wife to always respect her husband in every circumstance. And to the husband he said; “How you project your wife before your family and the public, is how they will address and treat her”.

While the Chairman of the occasion, Rt., Hon. Daniel O. Reyenieju, noted that marriage is an interesting business and it takes courage for one to get married.

Hon. Reyenieju, said that every marriage has its own good and bad experience, and advise that marriage is sustainable when good virtues, love and understanding is exhibited by both couple.

Earlier, at the Solemnization of Holy matrimony which took place at Christ Embassy Church, Effurun, Pastor Afolabi Adun, admonish the couple to make the best out of their marriage.

Pastor Adun who cited Gen. 2:15, said marriage was not man’s idea, rather it was initiated and ordained by God. He added that marriage is not a cure for loneliness neither is it for child bearing alone.

According to him, marriage is for the fulfillment of one’s destiny. He said God gave the woman to the man to help him fulfill his dreams, his vision and God given assignment.

Pastor Adun, who advised the couple to always fight the good fight in their marriage, said love makes and determine a family and not necessarily children.

While admonishing the partners to know their roles, he advised the wife to submit to her husband. He however decried that most wives do not submit to their husbands these days, saying they embarrassed their husbands both at home and even in public.

Pastor Adun, admonish women to help their husbands in fulfilling their assignment irrespective of their status and positions, adding that they should make impact and let people see the work of God in their lives.
