ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State-born politician, Sir Carlistus Ibe Nwawolo today April 16, 2019 celebrated 40 years of marriage with Rev. Fr. Sylvester Achapu, urging Christians to refrain from committing sin as such depicts the betrayal of Jesus Christ.
Rev. Fr. Achapu in a sermon at the 40th marriage anniversary and renewal of marital vows of Sir and Lady Nwawolo at St. John Mary Vianney Catholic Church, Asaba, stated that followers of Christ should always resist occasions of betraying Jesus Christ through committing sin.

He continued, “we should not depend on our powers because, if we depend on our powers, we will fall; we should depend on the power of God.”
“Let us depend entirely on God,” Fr. Achapu asserted, noting, “Jesus has come to help us, we should rely on Him and avoid occasions of sin.”
While congratulating Sir and Lady Nwawolo for attaining 40 years in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, Rev. Fr. Achapu admonished them to remain prayerful and continuously commit their lives to God.
