Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly Congratulates Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh on 8th Coronation Anniversary

ASABA/Nigeria: The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, has extended his warm congratulations to HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West local government area, as the revered traditional ruler marked his 8th coronation anniversary.

Expressing his sincere gratitude to the Almighty for bestowing multiple blessings upon the monarch, his immediate family, and the entire Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom, Rt Hon Guwor underscored the significance of this auspicious occasion and acknowledged the invaluable support he had received from the people of Ogbe-Ijoh during the 2023 general elections, which led to his victory as the representative of Warri South West in the Delta State Assembly.

In his commitment to fostering peace and advancing development within the kingdom and the local government area, Guwor assured his constituents that he would continue to advocate for unity and progress.

Furthermore, the Speaker commended HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni for his unwavering support of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda, urging him to persist in this endeavor as the administration endeavors to promote good governance across the state.

Addressing the longstanding feud between Ogbe-Ijoh and the neighbouring community of Aladja in Udu local government area, Guwor acknowledged the challenges faced during the monarch’s eight-year reign and appealed to him to redouble efforts in seeking a lasting resolution to the age-old conflict.

He emphasized the paramount need for peace and unity between both kingdoms to facilitate development in their respective localities, and he reiterated the state government’s unwavering commitment to finding a permanent solution to the ongoing dispute.

In his words, “I congratulate him, and wish him a more peaceful reign in his kingdom. I pray for peace within the kingdom. I pray for peaceful coexistence with neighbours, particularly with the people of Aladja in Udu local government area. It is time to forgive one another and put an end to further crisis in the area.”

Guwor further remarked, “As the representative of the people of Warri South West, with Ogbe-Ijoh as headquarters, I need peace and tranquility to advance development in the locality. I pray that the 8th anniversary of the Monarch will usher in more positive tidings in the community.
