ASABA/Nigeria: In a resounding show of solidarity and commendation, the Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC), Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), and leaders representing non-indigenous communities in Delta State have extended warm congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori following his triumph at the Supreme Court on Friday.
At a press conference convened in Asaba and presided over by prominent figures including Hon. Emeka Bidokwu, Chairman of Delta IPAC; Barr. Emeka Ebilekwe, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Non-indigenes; and Chief Efe Tobor Josiah, CUPP Chairman and Executive Assistant to the Governor on Inter Party Relations, the collective voice affirmed the victory as a validation of the overwhelming support garnered from the majority of Deltans during the elections.
“The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Delta State Chapter, in Collaboration with CUPP and Leaders of Non-Indigenes in Delta State, wish to use this medium to congratulate our amiable Governor, the Governor of Delta State, RT. HON. (ELDER) SHERIFF F. O. OBOREVWORI on his victory today at the Apex court,” declared the leaders in a joint statement.
Highlighting the significance of the triumph, they emphasized that the outcome underscored the genuine mandate bestowed upon Governor Oborevwori by the people of Delta State through their votes, reinforcing the credibility of the electoral process.
“We acknowledge His Excellency for his numerous achievements so far in the areas of infrastructural development, health care, human capital development, among others,” the leaders acknowledged, pointing to the governor’s track record in diverse sectors.
Commending Governor Oborevwori’s inclusive approach to governance, the leaders noted his appointment of members from various political parties and non-indigenous individuals in his administration. They lauded his commitment to an all-encompassing style of leadership, describing it as unparalleled in fostering unity and representation.
