WARRI/Nigeria: A Chieftain of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Delta State and an indigene of Opuama community in Egbema, Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, High Chief David Seikiri Ugedi has congratulated the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as he took second term swearing in oath of office on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba the state capital.
Chief David Ugedi while congratulating Governor Ifeanyi Okowa praised the governor first term achievements which according to him has brought peace and development to the state, noting that the governor performed excellently well in the areas of Health care by introducing contributory heath scheme for all Deltans, road construction, Education and other basic infrastructural development across the state.
He harped on the swearing in of Dr. Okowa, his achievements in the past four years to appeal for more projects to be attracted to Egbema communities in Warri North as well as other riverine communities in the state in order to get more government attention for development in the rural areas.
Chief David Seikiri Ugedi a traditional titled and well respected Chief in Egbema Kingdom as well as PDP stalwart from Warri North expressed delight that Dr. Okowa will perform better than his first term, appealed to Deltans to give him total support in the second term to carryout his development plans to the latter.
Chief Ugedi whose younger brother, Captain Joseph Ugedi demised recently pointed out that despite passing through stress, congratulated the member elect for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, he described Chief Ereyitomi as a well experienced seasoned administrator filled with knowledge to prudently and judiciously circulate dividend of what is due his constituents, he urged all Warri Federal residents to cue behind Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi in his quest to attract visible and sustainable development from the National Assembly to the area.
He felicitated with Chief Ereyitomi and Warri Federal constituency residents, Warri North people as well as other Warris , urging them to support Chief Ereyitomi as he subscribes to swearing in formally in the next week of in coming month of June, 2019 at the National Assembly Abuja the Nation’s Federal Capital.
