BOMADI/Nigeria: Team Ibori For Okowa 2019 has honored the pioneer President, Ijaw Youths Council (IYC), Dr. Felix Tuodolo, with an Ambassadorial Award.
The State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Edmond Guanah, in his speech at the ceremony which took place in Bomadi, said that the Ambassadorial Award is to appreciate Dr. Tuodolo for joining hands with the group in their recent distribution of books across schools in Delta State as a way of supporting the Smart Agenda of the State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa .
Hon. Guanah noted that the giant strides of Governor Okowa in the areas of road construction and human capital development is marvelous and that there is no better alternative for the Governor in 2019, adding that the group will continue to mobilize support for him across the 25 Local Government Areas of the state.
He appealed to Dr. Tuodolo to use his position as Pioneer President of Ijaw Youth Council to mobilize support for Okowa.
The State Secretary of the group, Comrade Mathew Oji, presented the award, while the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Deacon Onoriode Efekemo, decorated him as an Ambassador.
Dr. Tuodolo appreciated the group and promised to always support them and Governor Okowa and affirmed that the Governor’s victory is sure in 2019.
Dignitaries present include an Adviser of the group, Chief Felix Adanse, Olorogun Goddy Ighoavwota, Comrade John Ubebe, Andrew Guanah, one time speaker, Bomadi legislative arm, Mr Bekes Peretombofa, and many more.
Meanwhile, Bomadi Local Government chapter of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 was inaugurated last week at Bomadi.
Hon. Guanah in his opening address noted that the group is all about returning Governor Okowa to Government House in 2019.
He noted that the only way that can be achieved is to get their Permanent Voters Cards, (PVCs) and to continue to preach the good works of Senator Okowa to all nooks and crannies.
Comrade Oji and Deacon Efekemo charged the newly inaugurated Executive Council members to always work together for the success of the group for such will make 2019 a big win for the Governor.
The newly inaugurated Coordinator of the Local Government, Bomadi Oyibo, commended the state body for making the inauguration possible and promised to work together in unity with his EXCO members to make sure Dr. Okowa is victorious in 2019.
