ISELE-UKU/Nigeria: The State Coordinator of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019, Hon. Edmond Guanah, has said that the desire of the group to work towards the return of the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to Government House in 2019 is a task that must be accomplished.
Speaking during the inauguration of the Aniocha North chapter of the body, he stated that the aims and objectives of the group is strictly to ensure the reelection of Dr. Okowa in 2029.
Hon. Guanah noted that the reelection of the Governor in next year’s election will bring more developments in the state and so should be taken seriously.
The State Secretary of the group, Comrade Mathew Oji, advised the newly inaugurated members of the local government Executive Council to work in harmony and take the Governor’s campaign to their wards and units levels.
He urged them to sensitize the people on the need for Senator Okowa to return to Government House in 2019 by working collectively as a team as the Governor’s return is a necessity based on equity, fairness and justice.
A staunch politician and a Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) faithful, Wilson Chiejena, from Aniocha North, assured the group that Aniocha North will deliver 100% as has been their custom and appealed for working materials when the time comes.
Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization and stakeholder of the group, Deacon Onoriode Efekemo, performed the inauguration.
The newly inaugurated Coordinator, Aninye Oluchukwu John, thanked the state body for making the inauguration possible and promised that they will not fail in their task of delivering Dr. Okowa next year.
He said they will start work without delay in sensitizing the people of Aniocha North on the necessity of achieving the aims and objectives of the group.

Bright- Assistant Secretary, Azuibuike Ashiedu Victor – Provost, Mrs. Ifeanyi Omile – Woman Leader, Nwike Nwaekwu – Youth Leader, Deacon Wilson Chiejena – Financial Secretary and Mr. Uyabeme Joseph – Organizing Secretary.
Others are Mrs. Patricia Nwayor – Welfare, Frank Asikadi Obi – Media Director, Sedenu Ebele – Treasurer, Okonkwo Adinabue – Assistant Provost, Hon. Odi – Adviser, Mrs. Chukwudi Oyinye – Ex – official, Mr. Celestine Oloho – Ex – official, Mr. Uzor Onwadiegbo – Ex – official and Mrs. Eze Nwike Nwamaka – Ex – official.
