WARRI/Nigeria: The Coordinator, Warri North Chapter of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019, Comrade Smart Itiemor, has assured that the chapter will work tirelessly to actualise the sole aim of the the group which is to ensure the reelection of the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in 2019.
Comrade Itiemor, who was speaking after the inauguration of the chapter in Warri recently, said that the chapter will not just sensitize, but will also mobilize the people of the area to vote massively for the state Governor during next year’s gubernatorial election
The newly inaugurated Coordinator appreciated the leaders of the group for the success of the ceremony and for the confidence reposed on them promising that they disappointed in the task at hand.
In his opening speech, the State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Edmund Guanah, said that the sole aim of the team is to make sure that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa returns to Government House in 2019 for equity, justice and fairness.
Hon. Guanah stressed that if you are not for Governor Okowa, you do not have any business being a member of the team, adding that plans are being put in place for the group to be going from community to community to educate the people on why the Governor must return to Government House, Asaba, in 2019.
A stakeholder of the group and former House of Assembly aspirant in Warri North Local Government Area, Chief Felix Adanse, also advised the newly inaugurated Executive Council members to take the preaching of Governor Okowa’s good works to the grassroot.
The State Secretary of the group and former House of Assembly aspirant in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Mr. Mathew Oji, advised them that for the actualization of democracy, they have to make their contributions starting from the grassroot.
The Executive Council was inaugurated by the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Deacon Efekemo Onoriode

Aguofor -Youth Leader, Paul Esegbuwa – Treasurer, Nimi Kerekode – Mobilization Director, Paul. W. Moju -Media Director, Jacob Amajugho – Welfare, Tsuwa Twoyo – Provost, Dickson Baide – Assistant Provost, Charles Omas – Organizing Secretary, Tony Lawuru – Ex Officio , Richard Alabi – Ex Officio, Etemi Edun – Ex Officio, Duke Omare – Ex Officio, IK Ubabiri – Ex Officio and Governor Ekpokeme – Ex Officio
The Warri North chapter is the third to be inaugurated in the state.
