WARRI/Nigeria: The Warri South West Local Government Area chapter of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 have been inaugurated in Warri making it the second after Patani Local Government Area.
State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Edmond Guanah, in his address during the inauguration, said that the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has done the needful in the state as a grassroot man and should be supported to win re-election in 2019, just as he commended organizers of the Warri South West for their good works.
The State Secretary of the group, Mr. Mathew Oji, during the ceremony said that Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 is a Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) off-shoot stressing that the team’s vision and mission is to return Governor Okowa to Government House with ease, advising the new chapter to work together to achieve the objectives of the group.
Members of the Exco of the local government that were inaugurated include: Coordinator – Hon. Mackson Ukuli, Secretary -Comrade Kinsley George, Assistant Secretary- Mrs. Patient Odu, Woman Leader – Miss Misan Cole, Youth Leader – Nicholas Oluwafemi, Treasurer – Miss Precious Wawe, Mobilization Director – Hon. Samson Robert, Media Director – Comrade Present Ipopo, Welfare Officer – Comrade Doris Bozimo, Provost – Comrade Christopher Orugbo, Assistant Provost – Thursday Simon, Organizing Secretary- Mrs. Esther Posigha, while Ex-Officios are Samuel Cigetti, Christian Otutufugha, Clement Oghenero and Frank Ukuli.
Dotimi Aruwei and Captain Oloye were honored as Advisers while Chief Dogood Okirika was made the chapter’s Patron.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of thoughts cut across the state including Chief Felix Adanse who delivered a keynote lecture and Hon. Mackson Ukuli who gave the vote of thanks.
