EFFURUN/Nigeria: The State Coordinator, Team Ibori For Okowa 2019, Hon. Edmond Guanah, in a meeting last weekend at Wellington Hotel, Effurun, with the Patron of the group, Comrade Innocent Iyede, and its Ambassadors, Ambassador Prince Sunny Ogbon and Ambassador Chief Uruemu Evuetapha, encouraged them to take the re-election of the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as a task that must be fulfilled.
He advised them to continue their good works of charity and development in their various areas as this will be a plus for their rising political profile and will also drag more followers to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) family, adding that they should avoid the behaviours of some leaders who do not want the youths to grow politically.
The State Coordinator applauded them and prayed for God’s blessings upon them and also used the medium to appeal to those appointed by the state Governor to try and be doing small developmental projects in their various wards and communities for it will help the PDP family in winning in 2019.
Responding, Ambassador Prince Sunny Ogbon, who is a business mogul, said that there is no other party in Ughelli South Local Government Area, where he hails from, apart from PDP meaning victory is sure for Okowa 100% in 2019.
Also, Ambassador Chief Evuetapha, who is an aspirant for Delta State House of Assembly Ughelli South constituency, said that Okowa’s re-election in 2019 has been concluded as there is no vacancy in Government House.
The Patron, Mr. Innocent Iyede, who is also an aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly Ughelli North constituency 1, said he will support Senator Okowa to the last because he believes in equity, fairness and justice which means the Governor, by the Grace of God, will complete his two terms like Delta Central and Delta South.
