For all of this week the letter written by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo PhD, former maximum ruler and President of Nigeria has been the most talked about event.
So many of our young people have spoken in delight of the letter and have said it announces everything that is wrong with the Buhari regime.
There are even those who have celebrated the letter as the sounding of the death kernel of the APC led evil regime.
Some others have said the letter it is out of bad belle.
They may well all be right!
However, it is my opinion that we must situate Obasanjo properly in the conundrum of our current woes.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo PhD, Ebora Owu is the spiritual foundation upon which the Buhari trajectory relied upon. It was the Ebora’s blanket support that served as a covering for the well documented and evident evils of Gen. Buhari.
The said letter therefore in my opinion is a non event and should not be used to exonerate the Ebora from the responsibility of being the one who midwifed the Buhari presidency.
Baba Obasanjo therefore other than informing us of perhaps the thinking of the Nigerian cabal is not innocent in the current strangulation of the Nigeria masses.
Chief Obasanjo is not innocent of the Fulani herdsmen killings occurring around the country, neither is he free of the ethnic cleansing going on in Benue, Taraba, Southern Kaduna, the killings of over 1000 Shiites, the IPOB murders.
He is as guilty as the one who ordered them.
He is not innocent of their blood.
He is not innocent of the destruction of our economy, the looting of our common patrimony by this government, nepotism going on in this government etc.
He is not innocent of all that he accused this government of: because he was the foundation upon which this evil, lying, vindictive, hate filled, corrupt, nepotic, propaganda driven government is built on.
While I thank the Ebora for his letter, I advise him to look in the mirror then he will see the problem with Nigeria.
