The Church Cannot Grow, if there is No Spiritual, Physical and Healthy Family-Nmalagu

Obiaruku:  It had been revealed that the church cannot grow when there is no corresponding physical, Healthy, and spiritual growth of members of the church, especially the couples.Bishop Greatman Nmalagu

This was the conclusion of the message by Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Religious Matters, during the 2017 Couples Day Celebration of the True God Worshippers Assembly, Obiaruku, Ukwuani LGA, Delta state, on 01/04/2017.

The Bishop said that God forms every family through husband and wife, which is one of the most components of the church, without which the church cannot exist, grow to attain the good purposes of establishing it when individual families that make up the church are not healthy, physically and spiritually ready.

According to him, when couples lack healthy, physical and spiritual attributes in their marriage, it prevents God’s presence,

He reminded couples that the plan of God since the time of Adam and Eve have been a very nice one, calling on members of the God True Worshippers Assembly and the entire Christian world to strengthen their relationship with each other through the word of God.

“Without words of God marriages will not grow, so we have to always go to God by reading his word to strengthen us”. He said.

“It is through the word of God you were united to become one, so you must always read it”. He concluded.

The guest speaker of the occasion, Rev. (Mrs) Fidelia Oyemike, who  talked on the topic “Marriage of Favour”, said marriage is the union of two persons who has come together to live in agreement with God throughout their lifetime. She said marriage is a good thing that brings cures to sickness of loneliness, and creates helpmate.

Rev. Oyemike said when marriage is based on the word of God, it brings favour to the couple and the family, which will affect the community positively.

Some of the guest that graced the occasion were His Lordship Bishop & Pastor (Mrs) kaiwe Patrick (father and mother of the day), Hon. Sir Okenmor F. Tilije (Special Guest of Honour) who was represented by Hon. Muray Okpor, Rev. Dr Ehighator Abhukimen, Rev. Richard inzei.
