Tinubu’s Wife, Kwankwaso, 4 Govs, Buratai, Hayab, Others Expected At 10th Authentic Awards/Lecture In Kaduna …Nimrod, Dangote, Senator Yari, NIMASA, others bag awards

KADUNA/Nigeria: Kaduna’s prestigious Arewa House will play host to dignitaries from across Nigeria on Saturday, May 10, 2025, as leading media organisation, Authentic News Daily, marks the 10th edition of its annual awards and lecture series in grand style.
This year’s event, themed “Religion as a Tool for Peace and National Unity,” promises to be the most impactful yet, with a lineup of high-profile guests and speakers. According to a statement issued on Sunday, May 4, by Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Amos Ebute Mathew, arrangements have been concluded for what is expected to be a historic gathering.
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, former Kano State Governor and NNPP presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, are among top dignitaries expected at the event. Also on the guest list are Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd), who will deliver the keynote address.
Other notable figures expected include former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulazeez Yari, Honourable Bello El-Rufai representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Chairman of CAN 19 Northern States and FCT Reverend Joseph John Hayab, and Chairman of the NUJ Kaduna State Council, Comrade Abdulgafar Alabelewe.
The lecture segment will feature perspectives from Christian and Islamic viewpoints as well as government’s position on the role of religion in national cohesion. Reverend Hayab and Sheikh Halliru Abdullahi Maraya of the Global Peace Foundation will speak from their respective faith perspectives, while National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, is expected to deliver the government’s address.
Among those to be honoured at the event are First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who will receive the “Authentic Woman of the Year 2024” award. Other awardees include Engineer Musa Nimrod, Dangote Group, Senator Abdulazeez Yari, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
