ASABA/Nigeria: Trial census will commence in the three senatorial districts in Delta State on Wednesday, 13th July and ends on 30th July 2022.
The Commissioner representing Delta State in the National Population Commission (NPC), Sir Richard Odibo made the disclosure today in an interaction with our correspondent in Warri.
He disclosed further that the areas selected in Delta North Senatorial District were Idumuje-Unor, Umuleke -Ossisssa and Asaba.
According to Sir Odibo, the areas selected in Delta Central Senatorial District included Oviri Agbarho, Okpara, and Igbeku-Amuokpe.
He added that the areas in Delta South District were Kpakiama, Egbokodo and Owodokpokpo-Igbide.
Odibo noted that the areas were randomly selected among the three senatorial districts in the 25 local government areas of the state in the principle of fairness and equity.
While assuring that the commission would do a thorough job, he solicited the support and cooperation of people of the selected areas.
