JAKPA/Nigeria: A tricycle driver, popularly known as keke, and his male passenger were lucky to be alive as they escaped death today in Jakpa road.
According to an eye witness, it was said that a woman driving a Toyota Camry car, lost control of her car which developed some fault while she was driving.
In a bid to control the car, she collided with a tricycle that was driving behind her, got stuck-up to it, and bounced into the pavement in the road.
The car would have somersaulted but for the tricycle that obstructed it. The car drove some distance while dragging and compressing the tricycle, since it was still stuck to it until it came to a halt.
The tricycle driver and his passenger was said to have come down unhurt, except for minor scratch that was sustained by the passenger, who quickly went to a nearby clinic for treatment.
In a similar development, another woman driving a jeep, purportedly lost control and ran into a vacant shop and fell the wall that fenced the shop.
This occurrence took place around the new layout junction in Jakpa road, at the early hours of Saturday morning, before the commencement of today’s monthly environmental sanitation.
