AGBARHO/Nigeria: The Effurun to Ughelli axis of East West by Agbarho Junction was temporarily blocked by commercial tricycle (keke) riders Friday, 25 March, 2022.
The keke riders protested against an alleged # 3,000 levy of parking space by Ughelli North Local Government Council.
The action caused serious gridlock on the ever busy road from the Ughelli axis.
However, the protest did not last long as the protesters were neatly and quickly dispatched by some non-sense soldiers.
Efforts to reach the authorities of Ughelli North Local Government Council for comment at as the time of filing this report proved abortive.
Report just reaching our news room indicated that the protesters reconvened and made both sides of the roads impassable for commuters.
